In the heart of the vines

Château Marquis de Terme

Right in the heart of the Médoc Regional Nature Park, in the prestigious Margaux appellation on Bordeaux's left bank, stands a singular place at the crossroads between a unique bucolic setting, the hustle and bustle of a wine estate and the status of a Grand Cru classé in 1855.

Marquis de Terme is ultimately the commitment of a château to respect the land and culture it has inherited. It means carrying the prestige of both its appellation and its classification with responsibility and dedication.

Marquis de Terme is an estate where luxury meets simplicity, where prestige rhymes with freedom. Pushing open the doors of Marquis de Terme means entering a land imbued with humanity and gentleness, where everyone will find their place - the curious, the epicureans, the explorers, the enthusiasts - with pleasure and elegance.

The estate offers private tours, workshops and bike rides

Taste experience

The [AU] Marquis de Terme restaurant by Grégory Coutanceau

At the heart of the château is the [AU] Marquis de Terme restaurant run by chef Grégory Coutanceau. It's a meeting of the maritime terroir of La Rochelle, where the chef hails from, and the wine-growing terroir of Bordeaux.

It's the convergence of worlds that are unique to the estate and to Grégory Coutanceau: wine, gastronomy and sharing; a concentrated taste experience.
